DANIEL ZARCO

Dan has a Strong Estimating and Sales background with over 20 years of a proven track record in Sales, Fabrication, Manufacturing of Structural Steel & Misc. Metals. He brings a strong focus on communication (written and verbal) to lead his team of engineers, managers, shop & field personnel which has helped the company’s aggressive growth. He has embraced technology at every turn to provide a more efficient, professional and accurate workflow. Dan’s primary functions at Arcorp Structures are Business Development, Sales / Estimating, Strategic Planning, Acting CFO and general oversight of staff as needed.


Dan learned the business from the bottom up and his firm was recently given the honor of being included in INC. 5000's list of fasting growing companies in the U.S. He gained vital experience as a fabricator and a field iron worker in the early days. Then came Project Management where he managed over 5 million dollars in work per year. Estimating and Sales followed soon after as he was tasked with identifying bid opportunities and bidding 40 million dollars of work per year on average. Dan expanded his role with Universal by becoming the Senior Project Executive. In his new role he directed 4 Project Managers; worked with the CFO on banking matters; reviewed / approved purchase orders; participated in business strategy sessions; conducted meetings for personnel to review processes and safety; and developed / reviewed job specific changes and improvements.


Lastly Dan took on the role of Vice President of Operations where he managed the Estimating, Management & Business Development departments. Through planning, hard work and

communication he helped reduce errors in fabrication by 20% from one year to the next and maintained those improvements. Sales volume also increased 10% each year during his tenure.

Dan’s outside interests include coaching youth sports and spending time with his family. He has been involved with the Illinois Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, the Hispanic Contractors Industry Association and is an involved member of the community where he lives. Dan is also involved in the local community where Arcorp Structures resides. Arcorp has hosted the Local High Schools “National Manufacturers Day” in our Fabrication Plant during the mentorship program in 2020 and has also hosted Local Businesses for a Think Tank Program in accessing capital for Minorities
